Interior Features of the 2018 Pilot
The 2018 Honda Pilot has three rows of seating, accommodating up to 8 people and is perfect for families of any size. The front seats are comfortable with good padding for long highway cruises and the second row is just as accommodating. The third row is roomy unlike many other similar SUVs with three rows. The second-row seats slide front to back to give passengers wiggle room. The Pilot has a complete set of LATCH child-seat connections in each second-row seat and one in the third-row seat.
You’ll never run out of cargo space with the Pilot. The Pilot has more space than the average SUV with a 16.5 cubic foot cargo hold behind the third row. With the third row folded down it is 46.8 cubic feet of space, both the second and third row folded down is 83.9 cubic feet, but when you added the floor space it is up to 109 cubic feet. The in-cabin storage is impressive having small cubbies throughout the cabin and has a sizable bin in the center console. The cargo floor has a compartment underneath it to store larger items you want hidden.
The Pilot’s standard technology includes push-button start, multi-angle rearview camera, seven-speaker audio system, 5-inch touchscreen display, USB port, and Bluetooth for phone calls and streaming audio.
The Pilot has available power adjustable front seats and they can be heated and ventilated. The top trim, Elite, has heated second-row captain’s chairs, lowering the max seating capacity to 7. Leather trim is also available for the seats. For ease of access, the second row is available with one-touch that automatically moves the seat forward for easy access to the third row. A power tailgate is available in the EX-L trim and above. If you’d like more technology features, there are more multimedia options including Apple CarPlay, Android auto, Pandora Integration, and SiriusXM radio. Also available: moonroof, tri-zone automatic climate control, rear-seat entertainment system, power outlet, and an 8-inch touchscreen.

The Pilot comes with a 3.5L engine with 280 horsepower. The standard pairing to the engine is the 6-speed automatic transition. Front wheel drive is standard. The suspension makes the pilot a comfortable ride. The available 9-speed transmission comes with the Touring and Elite trims. All wheel drive is available.
