The 2023 Pilot simplifies things by offering a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 coupled to a class-leading ten-speed automatic transmission. Producing 285 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, the engine sends drive to the front wheels as standard. Honda’s iVTM4 all-wheel-drive system is optional. Front-wheel-drive variants are rated to tow up to 3,500 pounds, rising to 5,000 pounds on all-wheel-drive variants.

Choose the TrailSport trim, and you’re getting increased ground clearance thanks to a suspension lift, as well as steel skid plates, extra recovery points, hill descent control, and an enhanced all-wheel-drive system.
