If you need to haul around a lot of gear, the Civic hatchback features five doors, more than 97-cubic feet of passenger volume, and about 46-cubic feet of cargo capacity with the rear seats folded down. The base hatchback comes equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that’s paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to pump out 174 horsepower.

The base model comes with a 2-liter, 4-cylinder engine coupled with either a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic CVT that kicks out 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque.

Sedan

With four doors, nearly 98-cubic feet of passenger volume, and 15.1-cubic feet of cargo room, the Civic sedan remains the top choice for many drivers.
