Located in the Old Market District of downtown Omaha, the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art was founded in 1981. The center features exhibitions by local artists as well as national and international artists in a wide variety of styles and media that include painting, photography, textiles, photography, drawing, and much more. The center maintains artists in residence and is open to the public.
