Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is a must-visit for nature lovers of all ages. With tons of exciting exhibits and educational opportunities, there’s some for everyone there. Here are a few of our favorite must-see things at the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.

Desert Dome

The Desert Dome is the largest indoor desert in the country. This stunning exhibit is filled with flora and fauna native to desert eco-systems and is one of the best places to explore these extraordinary habitats without traveling to an actual desert.

Kingdoms of the Night

Kingdoms of the Night was built as part of the Desert Dome and also shares the distinction of being the largest nocturnal zoo exhibit in the world. Carefully constructed to reverse the day-night cycles, this exhibit allows visitors to experience all the wonders of the night and the creatures who make their home in the darkness. This is one of the most unique exhibits at the zoo and is an unparalleled opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures.

Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium

The Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium is part of the larger zoo and is home to beautiful and exotic creatures, ranging from colorful fish to playful Antarctic penguins. Learn more about animals and fish from around the world as you explore the aquarium, which is divided into different ecosystems to showcase the wondrous diversity of our seas.

The Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. It’s located at 3701 S 10th St.
