Two Must-Try Seafood Spots in Omaha

Whether you are looking for a new lunch spot or the perfect place for a date night, Omaha has some fantastic seafood choices.

1. Shucks Fish House and Oyster Bar

Shucks has three different locations in Omaha where you can enjoy lunch and dinner.  If you are looking for lunch, check out the daily happy hour specials at each site. They run from 2-6 p.m. every day. Some of the popular specials include the blue points on a half shell at the Downtown location. The Legacy location serves east points in a half shell. The Pacific location offers up Cajun catfish fingers. All three also have a peel and eat shrimp for 35 cents each.

Dinner specials include lobster bisque or clam chowder, perfect for a cold night. They also have classic shrimp scampi served over linguine.

2. Plank Seafood Provisions

Plank Seafood Provisions is in the Old Market in downtown Omaha. They are open for lunch and dinner as well as happy hour, seven days a week. Happy hour is from 3-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12-8 p.m. on Sunday. The specials include half-off oysters as well as blackened mahi-mahi tacos for $5.

Dinner highlights include a lobster roll and diver scallops. There is also an oyster bar with three different types of oysters.
